In accordance with the cycle of time epochs, the first is Satyuga, the second is Tretayauga, the third is Dvaparayuga and finally comes Kaliyuga. Currently, the full period of Kaliyuga is ending and the time of transition into a new era called Yugasandhya or the transitional period between two eras is underway. According to Manu Smriti, the duration of Kaliyuga is 432,000 years. However, due to man's numerous sinful activities, it will be reduced to 427,200 years, leaving only 4,800 years for the existence of Kaliyuga. This is described in the following verses from the Manu-smriti confirming this fact:
"Four thousand Aryajagus who created the century, These are its hundredth evening and evening parts."The meaning of the above verse from Manu-smriti is: after four thousand years, Satya-yuga comes. The duration of Paramayuga and its transition period (Sandhya) during these four thousand years is one tenth of the total duration of Paramayuga. That is: Age of Kali Yuga = 4000 years Two transition periods at the beginning of Kali Yuga and the end of Dvapara Yuga = 400X2 = 800 years In total, the duration of Kali Yuga is stated to be 4800 years.
With the passage of time, one of the Panchasahas, Mahapurush Achyutanand Das Ji Maharaj (who was an incarnation of Parama Saha "Sudama", the dearest friend of Lord Vishnu), under the guidance of Nirakar Ji (formless supreme God) changed the duration of Kali Yuga from 4800 years mentioned in Manu Smriti to 5000 years in Bhavishyamalika.
"Chari laksha je batish sahastra, kaliyug ra atay ayush. papa bhara re kali tuti jib, panch sasra kali bhog hoib."
In the above verse, Achyutanand Das Ji Maharaj says that - The Kaliyuga Age lasts for 4,32,000 years. However, due to the sinful actions of mankind, its duration will be shortened, and the total time will be only 5,000 years. At present, according to Maa Birja Panjika, Jagannath Panjika, Kohinoor Panjika, etc., 5125 years of Bhoga (time period) have passed since the beginning of Kaliyuga. This means that Kaliyuga has completely ended and we have entered Sandhyuga or Sangam Yuga. Due to this, there is now an urgent need for the Bhavishya Malik Granth for the well-being of human society. Again, Mahapurush Achyutanand Das Ji says in the Bhavishya Malik that -
"Among all the people in this world, no one knows how much time has passed and how much time remains, All eras and their devices remain unknown to people."(Shiv Kalp Navkhand Neergant)
Mahapurush Achyutanand Das Ji Maharaj describes in Malika Granth - Shiv Kalpa Navkhand Nirghant that people will not be able to realize the change of era or the beginning of transition and disasters surrounded by illusions. Even people with great knowledge will get lost and confused and they will say that Kaliyuga is in its early age (childhood).
"Udayati: Yadi bhanu pashchima diga bibhागe, bikashati Yadi padma parvatानां sikhागre। Prachalati Yadi meru shito tapati banhi, natalin Khadu bakya sajjanानां kadachit।"
In the future, the time may come when the sun will rise in the west, the lotus will bloom on the top of the mountain, North or South Meru will change its direction, fire will give coolness and ice will give warmth, but the words of Mahapurush Achyutanand Das ji described in the Malika Granth are unchanged.10- कलियुग के All rights reserved.
